On July 7, 1884 Box 75 was transmitted at 23:25 for fire in a wooden building at Weeden & Power Rd. Hose's 1 & 2 and truck 1 responded, while responding Hose carriage 1 hit a upright stone and overturned. Chief Collyer, Levi Green, WM Daggett, Lewis Butler, WM Boyd, and WM Morges were involved in the wreck. On July 27 Chief Collyer died from his injuries.
July 11 Box 51 was transmitted at 17:10 for a reported fire in the Boston / Providence railroad building. Sparks from a locomotive sparked a fire that took 22 minutes to control. The Recall came at 17:32 Hose's 4 & 3 with Truck 2 responded.
July 13 at 07:30 fire alarm transmitted Box 31 for fire in a two story wooden building at Pine Street & the Train tracks. The building occupied by Union Wading as a oil house sustained 200 dollars in damage, and was controlled by Hose's 2,1,3,4 Truck's 1 & 2 the recall was sounded at 07:50
July 23 at 10:35 fire was reported in wooded buildings to the rear of 108 Middle Street. Hose 4 and Truck 2 responded and knocked down a barn fire.

August 19 Box 32 was struck at 02:30 for a fire at 515 Main street, Fire was located in a grocery store with residential space above. Fire was knocked down in 1 hour, 2 minutes recalled at 03:32 hose's 1&2 with Truck 1 responded.
On September 9th at 08:07 Box 7 was transmitted for Main @ Water Streets for fire in a storefront and Dwelling, Recalled at 08:14 7 minute knock down for Hose's 3,1,4 and Truck's 1 & 2.
On October 20 at 15:33 Box 58 was sounded for Smithfield avenue in the area of the Slaughterhouse's, For fire in an unknown type structure. Hose's 1,2 Steamer's 2,3 and Truck 2 responded and had the fire in 38 minutes recalled at 04:33
The Windsor Nightclub was located at 377 Main Street in a block of stores from 377-387 Main street and stood as a Pawtucket landmark for 40 Years. The Windsor was a 2 story restaurant with apartment space above, At the time of the fire the Apartments were vacant. The Block of stores was occupied by Collette Trave

Around 01:45 Fransis O'brien A Bartender at The Windsor Locked up and went home for the night, A city resident on Beech Street noticed smoke coming from the rear of the building and pulled the Street box at Main and Beech street's. Pawtucket fire alarm transmitted a still & Box alarm At 05:11, On Arrival heavy smoke was pouring from the rear of the building, Chief Bannon ordered a Second Alarm at 05:15. Crews battled heavy fire conditions for more than six hours before the fire was contained. All Pawtucket Fire Apparatus responded, Multiple lines were stretched and two ladder pipes were set up On Side's 1&4, Crews contained the fire to the Windsor, The rest of the block received extensive smoke and water damage and the two vacant apartments were gutted.Weintraubs Store Fire

At 16:38 On Saturday Firefighters received multiple calls for a fire at Weintraubs on Dexter street. On arrival Chief Renzi reported heavy smoke and fire from the outlet store filled with Cloth and other Fabrics. Fire took hold of the building running from side 4 to side 1 producing thick toxic black smoke that could be seen for miles. All pawtucket Fire apparatus responded to the spectacular 2nd alarm fire. 2 Ladder pipes, multiple master streams and deck guns contained the fire to the building of origin. The fire is believed to have started in the rear of the store and extended into the ceiling before being detected and reported. The building was a total loss.
Pleasant Street Building Burns Twice

The School had been closed February 25, 1957 on Arrival Captain Fransis Gallant reported heavy fire running up the exterior on side 1, crews dropped lines and quickly knocked the fire down and checked inside the building for any extensions, minor extension was reveled and extinguished. Around 17:00 Pawtucket and Central falls Firefighters received calls for a building fire at Coats Field Shoppers world, 3 Engines and a ladder from Pawtucket and 2 Engines and a ladder responded from Central Falls. On Arrival a Debris Pile in a trailer quickly extended to the overhead and loading dock area. Pawtucket firefighters commanded by Captain Eugene Monaghan worked with Central Falls Members to knock down the trailer and building fire's quickly. No Extension was found to the interior.

The Mill in question in the 1990's was a hot spot for small fires and in 1999 was leveled by general alarm fire.
On Thursday evening, November 7, 1957 thousands of Shoppers gathered in downtown Pawtucket. Founded in 1805 the 115 year old First Baptist Church stood at the corners of High an Summer Streets until a raging two alarm fire destroyed the large church building. Heavy fire Believed to been caused by a boiler, started in the basement of the building and quickly spread upwards towards the churches 75 foot tower. The church’s burning tower which was visible for miles drew a massive crowd of nearly 20,000 spectators. The church was a complete loss and High street was shut down till the tower finally collapsed. This was the second fire in the First Baptist Churches history,

The one story commercial club opened in September of 1955, constructed of wood it was located at 134 Benefit Street near Kenyon Avenue, and was previously known to locals as Elleens Lounge. The fire is believed to have started in a fireplace that was left unattended when the nightclub closed for the evening. Around 05:00am Pawtucket fire alarm dispatched companies to that location for reports of a building fire, Engine 4 on arrival had the building well involved in fire and began the initial attack. Multiple exposures in the rear became involved in fire and attention quickly switched to saving the surrounding neighborhood. Fire extended to structures 5 blocks east and west of the mill. four hundred students were evacuated from Curvin McCabe School During the Event, Hundreds Of Residents were evacuated and sent to Jenks Junior High School At 350 Division Street. More Than Three Hundred Firefighters from Rhode Island And Southern Massachusetts responded to help control the fire which eventually extended to more than 15 buildings. the Spectacular General Alarm fire was placed under control at 19:11 hours. On Monday, June 6th 1983 the Star Gas Company located at 125 Freight St was leveled in a major explosion and resulting fire. At around 1:30 PM an East Providence man was refilling 2 20 pound gas tanks with help from a staff member the first tank was filled and then placed into a ventilated room, while filling the second tank the fire started, Pawtucket Engine 4 arrived first due and parked in the lot, multiple tanks were exploding and flying around the area landing on vehicles parked on Webster Street,and Broadway, A house located at 51 Mavis Street was also damaged. Firefighters protected a rail car and 3 60 foot long gas tanks before bring the fire under control with help from 6 area fire departments.On Monday February 22, 1960 Fire broke out at American Insulated Wire located at 36 Freeman Street. Fire was reported at 9:35 PM Arriving companies had heavy fire quickly extending into the eves of the factory building. 7 Engine’s 2 Ladder’s responded to the alarm. Crews knocked down the fire and began overhauling operations,returned to service. The fire was believed to have started from a machine. At around 1:55 AM, A Pawtucket police officer turned onto Mendon Avenue from Armistice Blvd. And noticed fire coming from the building once again. Pawtucket Firefighters responded on the box alarm. The fire was quickly knocked down and contained to a ventilation system in the location of the previous fire.All These fire’s were within blocks of each other, This is one of three locations in the City of Pawtucket where multiple buildings have burned in multiple alarm fire’s over the years.

The fire started in the American Products woodworking shop that manufactured bowling and billiard supplies, Occupying half the building it quickly spread to a plastics company also in the mill. At 11:01 the initial report of the fire was dispatched, at 11:07 a second alarm was transmitted along with a General Alarm. Two Homes were damaged as wind blew embers on the roofs of 89 Middle Street and 187 Fountain Street. Multiple fire companies from surrounding communities responded to the fire and helped control it within 45 minutes of the first alarm.On May 26th 1968 a Portion of the building at 200 Front Street was destroyed by another general alarm fire at which time American Products relocated to 250 Front Street at Central and on November 4th 1973 that building burned to the ground, The Old Paramount Finishing Company is where they relocated after that fire.
